Learn how to get ahead in the music industry

Take part in a one-day session which introduces you to the business side of the music industry.  Hear directly from key industry specialists working in artist management, A & R, radio, music and brand management. Gain an understanding on what they do, how they got there and why they succeeded.

 

This bespoke taster session will provide not only an overview of the music industry, it will also explain how the music industry works; who does what, the artist’s role within the industry framework, and what skills you need to get ahead.  We are also keen to hear your opinions on why you think there are so few women in the music industry.

 

Take part

This one day event will take place at Raw Material, 2 Robsart Street, London, London SW9 0DJ, on Saturday 22 October form 10am-5pm. 

 

The course is open to any young women between the ages of 16-25 who has a passion for the business side of the music industry.  Please note that this course is not directly aimed at performers and singer song writers, it is strictly business!

 

The course is free of charge, all materials, lunch and refreshments will be provided.  Part of the session will filmed, please notify us if you do not wish to be filmed.
