SEPTEMBER 2010

Access to Music is excited to announce that we have a limited number of Freelance Music Apprenticeship opportunities available for 16-18 year olds starting in September.

Freelance Music Apprenticeships are all about developing a self-employed business in the music industry, whether that be you working as a gigging and recording artist, or you setting up as a promoter, manager or label owner.

Our Freelance Music Apprenticeships can support any business idea from setting up a record shop, to being an artist, to running a venue or festival to operating a web-based music service. You bring us the ideas and we will help you to make your business happen!

The Norwich Music Apprenticeships are focused on those wanting to establish a business in live and/or studio sound engineering. For more info on the Norwich centre click here.

Old Vic New Voices

We are looking for passionate, outspoken people to create PLATFORM, a theatrical snapshot of London life in 2010 performed by 50 people in The Old Vic Tunnels under Waterloo Station. You can contribute to the creation of that play and audition to become on of the 50 performers.

The play will be inspired by Londoners; their stories, their experiences. Make sure you come along to one of our PLATFORM Sessions where you can find out more and contribute your voice to the project. Stories and characters from these sessions will inspire the writers to create PLATFORM.
